The darker shading represents the counties that have received the most payments.
Authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, this program provides multi-year financial incentives to EPs and EHs who adopt, implement, or upgrade, and subsequently demonstrate meaningful use, of Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT).
